Aquatic Habitat Restoration Project

Musqueam has developed an Aquatic Habitat Restoration Plan (AHRP) that highlights the critical importance of aquatic habitats within Musqueam’s Territory.

Projects initiated and undertaken by AHRP will serve to uphold restoration and enhancement objectives and key restoration principles for the Musqueam Creek watershed and foreshore area. These projects will be coordinated by the Aquatic Habitat Restoration Team (AHRT).

AHRP Projects commenced on March 3rd, 2015, employing Musqueam community members for the duration of the clean-up, removal and restoration phase of the project.
