A Message from Musqueam Chief and Council and Administration

A Message from Musqueam Chief and Council and Administration.

The Musqueam Band Council, and Administration wish to assure the community that we are aware of the violent incident that took place this past weekend, we would like to assure all members of the community that we are taking this very seriously, and we are working with the VPD and others to ensure the on-going safety of community.

As your elected leaders we are striving to create and support a healthy, drug and violence free community. We understand that there is much healing and revitalization work to be done, and that this type of change is not always easy. We also acknowledge that this healing and restoration has to be done with our community as a whole for genuine change to take place. In the coming weeks and months, we will be inviting community to come together and support this change.
