Language and Culture

Dear Musqueam Community,

Please support hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ revitalization by taking a few minutes to fill out the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ Language Survey.

The purpose of this survey is to gain community input regarding knowledge of and interest in hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓, and for suggestions on where best to focus our revitalization efforts here at Musqueam.

Surveys are available from the Language and Culture Department, or on the Musqueam website. Completed surveys can be submitted by mail, by fax, or in person to the Reception desk at the Musqueam Band Office, or scanned and submitted by E-mail to jill.campbell@musqueam.bc.ca.

This survey is part of a larger effort to work together with other hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ dialect communities to facilitate broader collaboration. Each participating community will be responsible for conducting their own survey and managing their results. To maintain confidentiality, all results will remain anonymous and respondents’ names will not appear with the results. Survey results will only be used for the purpose of hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ revitalization.

All respondents will be entered in a prize draw January 1st, 2014.
